DEAR DEIDRE: THE guy I was flirting with found out I’m in a relationship and blocked me.

I feel sad as I really liked him. Things aren’t going well with my boyfriend, so I hoped something could happen.

My boyfriend and I are both 19.

We’ve been together for two years but he doesn’t treat me well.

I’ve been summoning up the courage to end it but keep putting it off.

Meanwhile, a guy has been coming into the cafe where I work, and we’ve been chatting. He is in his early 20s.

He’s kind and interesting, and said he would like to take me out.

But someone told him I’m not single.

He said he doesn’t want a cheater and he has stopped coming to the cafe.

What can I do?
