Corinth man charged for allegedly possessing child sex abuse images
CORINTH, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Corinth man was arrested on Nov. 7 after an investigation into child sex abuse images. Lawrence Miller, 61, faces multiple felony charges.
Following an online tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and an investigation into child sex abuse images, state police executed a search warrant at Miller's home. Miller allegedly had images consistent with child sexual exploitation and has reportedly been promoting those images.
Charges:
- Promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony
- Possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony
After his arrest, he was processed at the State Police barracks in Wilton. Miller was later arraigned at the Corinth Town Court where he was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash, a $40,000 bond.
Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security assisted in his arrest.
