Adrien Brody is stepping out for the premiere of his highly-anticipated new movie!
The 51-year-old Oscar-winning actor joined co-stars Felicity Jones and Joe Alwyn at the premiere of The Brutalist on Thursday night (December 5) held at the Vista Theatre in Los Angeles.
Fellow cast members in attendance included Guy Pearce, Isaach De Bankole, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, and Alessandro Nivola.
Here’s the synopsis: Escaping post-war Europe, visionary architect László Toth (Brody) arrives in America to rebuild his life, his work, and his marriage to his wife Erzsébet (Jones) after being forced apart during wartime by shifting borders and regimes. On his own in a strange new country, László settles in Pennsylvania, where the wealthy and prominent industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren (Pearce) recognizes his talent for building. But power and legacy come at a heavy cost…
The movie made a splash at the major film festivals over the summer, and was voted the best out of all the films in a poll from IndieWire.
The Brutalist will hit theaters on December 20. By the way: it’s a long film at 3 hours and 35 minutes! Check out the trailer here.
