Moment woman brazenly steals Amazon packages from apartment block
Police are searching for a woman who walked into a luxury apartment block and stole a pile of Amazon parcels.
The blonde woman was captured on CCTV scooping up the boxes in The Atrium apartment complex in Nottingham.
Dressed in black joggers and a black jacket, she stacked a few other parcels on top of a larger one before looking both ways and walking away quickly.
Nottinghamshire Police are investigating after they found the footage while looking through CCTV on September 24.
Detectives believe the woman has stolen goods from the communal area on numerous occasions.
Sergeant Chris Johnson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: ‘We are keen to speak to this woman to take her account. If you know who she is please get in touch with us.
‘Likewise, if you have any other information please call police. We understand the footage is not completely clear, but believe people who know this woman will recognise her.’
One crafty criminal have found a way to avoid being identified on CCTV – by disguising themselves as a bin bag.
Omar Gabriel Munoz was baffled when he couldn’t find a parcel containing had two iPhone chargers on the doorstep of his California home earlier this year.
When he checked footage, he saw was a pair of white shoes poking from the bottom of a black bin bag shuffling towards his door.
The person underneath, clearly hunched over, slowly made their way back down the concrete path after claiming their prize.
Munoz told Fox News: ‘At first I was kinda angry but when I saw the video again I was laughing because people [these] days have a lot of creativity.’
