Flight Crew Under Investigation for Filming Frisky Passengers
While many have joined the mile high club over the years, it usually doesn't result in consequences for the flight crew. But some Swiss Air Lines crew members are learning the consequences of not stepping in during these situations.
According to Business Insider, some crew members are under investigation after a video of two passengers on a Swiss flight from Bangkok to Zurich on Nov. 29 surfaced on social media. It happened after two passengers were seen on camera in the first-class galley of the plane "engaging in intimate acts" while a crew member filmed them on the screen using their phone.
Swiss news outlet 20 Minuten first broke the story earlier this week. "Swiss [International Air Lines] is aware of the video," company spokesperson Meike Fuhlrott told the publication. "Filming people without their clear consent and sharing these recordings contradicts our guidelines and values and violates the applicable data protection regulations."

While the airline acknowledged that the passengers were out of line, it also expected its crew members to step in to put a stop to the sexual acts rather than film it and make light of the situation.
"The behavior of the passengers in question was inappropriate—therefore, our employees should have acted in line with our protocols and intervened immediately," the company told Business Insider. "Why the crew did not act accordingly is the subject of the ongoing investigation."

Just remember on your next flight that, aside from the lavatory, there's probably nowhere on the plane that is completely isolated from others' wandering eyes.
