Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has spent nearly a decade on social media sharing her love of the game with millions of followers around the world. Now, her presence online has taken her to a new level of fame on the golf circuit.
On Dec. 6, the PGA Tour announced its lineup for its new Creator Council composed of a number of social media stars in the golf world including Spiranac. She's known for her Instagram videos on the course and sharing her honest thoughts on the sport with her following. Spiranac joins other creators like Tisha Alyn, Erik Anders Lang, and Barstool Sports' Fore Play podcast as the Tour seeks to "discuss fan engagement strategies, collaborative content opportunities, the evolution of the Creator Classic, and much more."
"In 2015 I went viral and that catapulted my social media journey. At that time there was no such thing as golf content creators on social media. Over these past 9 years it’s been amazing to share my love for this incredible game with so many people," she wrote on X. "I’m proud of the path I paved for myself in golf and how far this industry has grown with so many talented creators who share a common goal. To be on the Creator Council is an honor and I’m very excited to continue to do my part to grow the game!"

The hope, ultimately, is to reach new legions of fans where they are.
"The combined creative engines behind the Council and Tour will help strengthen and grow our collective relationship with the vibrant community of fans who love to engage with golf and the PGA Tour through social media," PGA Tour chief marketing and communications officer Andy Weitz said in a statement.
After the ongoing Hero World Challenge in Albany, New York wraps up this Sunday, PGA Tour will close out the year with its qualifying tournament Dec. 12 through 15 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and the Grant Thornton Invitational from Dec. 13 through 15 in Naples, Florida.
