At the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Minsk on 6 December Russian President Vladimir Putin in Minsk hinted at the ultimate benefit from Western sanctions, which is associated with freeing up the market for domestic producers and Union State goods.
