An amber weather warning has been issued for Liverpool as Storm Darragh sweeps across our region.

Roads
Queens Drive around Dovedale Road and North Mossley Hill Road has now reopened.
Other roads may be affected and please watch out for standing water.
Football pitches
All games on Council-owned sports pitches have been called off this weekend.
parkruns
Both Liverpool parkruns, Princes and Croxteth Hall, have been cancelled.
Decisions have yet to be made the city’s three junior parkruns, Norris Green, The Mystery and Stanley Park, which are held on Sunday. Keep an eye on social media feeds or the parkrun cancellations webpage.
Markets
The twilight market at Exchange Flags on Friday 6 December from 4-8pm is cancelled. Weather permitting, the markets on 13 and 20 December will go ahead as planned.
Great Homer Street market has been cancelled on Saturday 7 December along with Tuebrook and Woolton Village markets. Weather permitting, Great Homer Street will be open on Sunday 8 December from 9am – 3pm.
HMS Prince of Wales
Public viewing of HMS Prince of Wales has been cancelled on Saturday 7 December due to the forecast strong winds.
Tickets are non-transferable and alternative dates are unavailable due to the ship’s schedule.
