Royal correspondent and Mail on Sunday's assistant editor Kate Mansey spoke to Palace Confidential and suggested that Markle's claim Kate Middleton made her cry affected Prince Harry and Prince William's bond.
"It was such a shame. It was described to me as civil which is palace courtier for what the rest of us would refer to as frosty," Mansey said as quoted by Express. "You do wonder whether it could be their kind of gift to the Queen to make up somehow. But there's been so much said obviously, Oprah."

The 96-year-old British monarch stepped out to join the senior royals on Garter Day. Express shared a snap of the monarch with Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, ahead of the Order of the Garter Service at St George's Chapel.
In the snap, the Queen wears a white gown with a blue sash. She is also noticeably holding a walking stick.

Queen Elizabeth Health Update
The Queen is already in her advanced years, but she is determined to serve the monarchy until her last breath. That's why she still attends royal engagements if her body allows it. The Queen has no other health problems aside from "episodic mobility," which the palace announced in May when she decided to cancel her attendance at the State Opening of Parliament.
"The Queen continues to experience episodic mobility problems, and in consultation with her doctors has reluctantly decided that she will not attend the State Opening of Parliament tomorrow," a statement from Buckingham Palace, Us Weekly reported. "At Her Majesty’s request, and with the agreement of the relevant authorities, The Prince of Wales will read The Queen’s speech on Her Majesty’s behalf, with The Duke of Cambridge also in attendance."
She also contracted COVID-19 in February after Prince Charles and Camilla's diagnoses. She was fully vaccinated and only experienced "mild, cold-like symptoms" at the time.
However, she is still experiencing the lingering effects of her bout with COVID-19, which was "tough on her" as it continues to leave her feeling "very fatigued."
"It [Covid] does leave one very tired and exhausted, doesn't it?" the Queen said in a video call to the Royal London Hospital in April, BBC reported. "This horrible pandemic. It's not a nice result."
The Queen "has been advised by her loved ones and trusted advisors to go a lot easier on herself, even if it means missing more functions than she would like," an unnamed source told Us Weekly last month.

"They promised the Queen that they wouldn’t upstage her," Myers added. "Certain people at the Palace were very, very nervous about their attendance here.."
