Sooners Draw Navy in Armed Forces Bowl

For the first time in program history the Oklahoma Sooners will compete in the Armed Forces Bowl. The Sooners drawing Navy as their season closing opponent.

Oklahoma finished the regular season with a 6-6 mark. They picked up that pivotal 6th win over Alabama which played a major role in the Tide missing the College Football Playoff.

Navy went 8-3 this season with their annual showdown with Army still to be played. Following that, the Midshipmen square off with the Sooners Friday, December 27th at 11 AM in Fort Wort, Texas. The game is played at TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium.

Navy head coach Brian Newberry is a native of Moore, Oklahoma and a graduate of Westmoore High School.
