Taylor dropped the “Anthology” deluxe version of the album on November 29th, which features four vinyls and two cd sets, only at Target.

In the first full week of sales, the new version of TTPD notched 405,000 album units in the US.

Traditional album units sold was 368,000, which brought the entertainer to break her own record for the biggest week overall for any album. Previously, TTPD sold 439,000 units in its second week.

This is The Tortured Poet Department‘s 16th non-consecutive week at No 1. Back in July, Taylor broke Whitney Houston‘s 1987 record of being the only album by a woman to spend first 12 weeks at No 1. Whitney‘s record was 11 with her self-titled album Whitney.

Rounding out the top five spots on the Billboard 200 albums chart are Kendrick Lamar‘s GNX at No 2, the Wicked soundtrack at No 3, the late Juice WRLD‘s The Party Never Ends at No 4 and Sabrina Carpenter‘s Short n’ Sweet at No 5.
