I transformed my hallway on the cheap using bargains from B&Q and Facebook – but a £4 TikTok buy made a huge difference

With Christmas right around the corner and more and more of us spending additional time in our homes, one woman was keen to give her pad a spruce up.

But Lolly revealed that it was a £4 buy from TikTok that made all the difference – and now, people are calling her hallway ‘beautiful’.
It comes after the savvy woman, who is from the UK, took to social media to share a before and after look at her home, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Lolly posted a picture of her hallway prior to its overhaul.
What was once an all white space has since been given a warmer, more chic look, without denting a huge hole in her purse.
Clearly thrilled with her mega makeover, Lolly penned: “Little hallway spruce up before Christmas. Few finishing touches to add.
“Hated the small radiator and the fact it wasn’t central.
“Also anyone struggling with radiator covers due to radiators being quite high?
“I glued on some gold cupboard door knobs.”
Not only did Lolly give her radiator a makeover, but she also gave the space a lick of paint too.
She confirmed that she used GoodHome paint from B&Q paint in the shade Cancun, which you can buy from just £14, as well as a black paint to make the space pop.
Not only this, but to add style to her space, she created a panel-effect wall display, using wood from Facebook Marketplace.
