Putin officially grants blood-thirsty Assad asylum in Russia as tyrant is forced to flee Syria after rebel uprising
RUSSIA has granted political asylum to ousted Syrian tyrant Bashar al Assad who was forced to flee after rebels toppled his government.
Assad’s fellow despot and friend Vladimir Putin personally decided to give him refuge in Russia – where Assad is now cowering in the Kremlin.
Syria’s former President Bashar al-Assad – ousted by rebels on Sunday[/caption]Kremlin mouthpiece Dmitry Peskov confirmed the move on Monday.
He said Russia had “nothing to say about Assad’s whereabouts”.
