According to the NY Post’s Jon Heyman, the Baltimore Orioles have signed outfielder Tyler O’Neill to a three-year, $49.5 million contract with an opt-out after 2025. Last season, O’Neill slashed .241/.336/.511/.847 in 113 games for the Red Sox last season.

According to Marquee Sports Network’s Taylor McGregor, Cubs infielder Dansby Swanson underwent successful core injury surgery in early October with Dr. Bill Meyer. He is not expected to miss any time as a result of the surgery. In 149 games for the Cubs last season, Swanson batted .242/.312/.390/.701.

According to Just Baseball’s Aram Leighton, the Rangers have signed former Mets pitcher Adrian Houser to a minor league contract. In 69 1/3 innings for the Mets last season, Houser recorded a 5.84 ERA.

Leighton also reported that the Pirates and right-handed reliever Tanner Rainey have agreed to a minor league deal that includes an invite to big league spring training. Rainey threw 51 innings for the Nationals last season, logging a 4.76 ERA.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, standout Japanese pitcher Rosi Sasaki is expected to be officially posted at the Winter Meetings. The 23-year-old started 18 games in the NPB this season, posting a 2.35 ERA and 10.5 K/9.

Passan also reported that shortstop Willy Adames and the San Francisco Giants have agreed to a seven-year, $182 million contract, the largest deal in franchise history. In 610 at-bats for the Brewers last season, Adames slashed .251/.331/.462/.794.

According to Jon Heyman of the NY Post, the Orioles have signed catcher Gary Sanchez to a one-year, $8.5M deal. In 245 at-bats for the Twins last season, Sanchez slashed .220/.307/.392/.699.
