Warriors vs. Timberwolves injury report

All the latest injuries for Sunday’s game between Golden State and Minnesota.

After suffering a fairly one-sided loss on Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Golden State Warriors get the good luck — or perhaps misfortune — of getting to run it back. Less than 48 hours later, the Dubs are once again hosting the Wolves in a battle of teams hoping to earn home court advantage in the Western Conference playoffs in a few months.

There are, however, a few dings and bruises for each team. Here’s the full injury report.

Warriors

Out — De’Anthony Melton (left ACL surgery)

Nothing has changed for Melton, who just underwent surgery on his injured ACL. He’s out for the year, and the only question is whether or not his salary gets used in a trade at some point.

Questionable — Andrew Wiggins (right ankle impingement)

Wiggins was questionable for the team’s back-to-back on Thursday and Friday, but he gutted through a lot of pain to play both games. On Thursday he put together a star performance to help the Steph Curry and Draymond Green-less Warriors pull off an upset over the Houston Rockets. But on Friday, in the first game against the Timberwolves, Wiggins’ toughness came back to bite him, as he further hurt his ankle and left the game at the start of the second half.

Questionable — Moses Moody (left knee patellar tendonopathy)

Moody suffered a mild injury to his knee in the second quarter of Friday’s game. He didn’t come out from the tunnel after halftime, but thankfully seems to be OK. Hopefully he can play.

Timberwolves

Out — Joe Ingles (left soleus strain)

Ingles hasn’t played since mid-November, and the former elite role player has only been on he court for 26 minutes so far this season.

Out — Rob Dillingham (right ankle sprain)

Dillingham was a lottery pick in June, but is still waiting to really get his career going. He’s only appeared in 11 games, and has had a very small role.

Out — Leonard Miller (G League assignment)

Miller has yet to make his second-season debut, as he’s mostly been getting seasoning in the G League.

Enjoy the game, Dub Nation!
