I’ve got one last thing to say about Coleen Rooney after coming runner up in final: Rebekah Vardy’s I’m A Celeb diary
WOW! 10 million votes have crowned Danny the King of the Jungle.
What an absolute legend, a true champ.
I’ve got one last thing to say about Coleen Rooney[/caption]The weather was a big, big part of this year’s I’m a Celebrity. But it was definitely the series of getting on, jungle therapy and easy Cyclones.
The Towers of Terror trial. Reverend loved his snake. It looked utterly terrifying! I remember the jungle man saying once that they remove the venom from the snakes’ fangs – but I’m sure it still really hurts if you’re bitten, though.
And he still managed to keep the spirits up as well, asking Danny to give him tips when snakes go in his pants.
The guy is absolute comedy gold. “Relax and clench.” Danny’s shorts and snakes again. I think the Rev loved to talk about Danny’s trouser snake, didn’t he?
The last supper, the three finalists enjoyed the well-deserved treats from mozzarella sticks and spag bol to some good old cottage pie.
It was definitely more appetizing than their usual meal in camp… what’s a brava?
The Rev is the perfect dinner guest. He’s been one of my absolute favourite campmates of all time.
So, the Rev finished third. From day one, he was just so authentic, original, and absolutely hilarious.
He really has had such an incredible journey. He did so well. He had amazing highlights, life-reaffirming, so positive, heavenly contestant – from concave nipples, royals being great in bed, to buying and losing a speedboat, to his amazing romance with GK – the most unlikely relationship – and his friendship with Maura.
I’m really, really hoping we see more of Rev and GK together. I think they have really, really helped each other in the jungle. It’s such a great, wonderful friendship.
The Rev has been like Superman. Nothing seems to faze him apart from a bit of swearing.
“The fish guts were like a spittoon from a Shanghai hooker’s bar.” What a legend. I’m really gonna miss seeing the Rev, his dancing, his spirit, and his singing.
He showed a side to himself that the public haven’t seen. He did himself so proud.
And Coleen finished second. Coleen has had a fab series. She has really done well and made herself proud.
Yes, I know you’re all waiting for me to say otherwise, I’m sorry to disappoint, but it’s just not happening. It’s really, really time to move on and end the year with a positive.
But this series belongs to King Danny. From day one, I knew he was an absolute champ, his positivity, fun, joy, entertainment. He was born for this. He was so honest and true to himself, and I loved him. I don’t think I heard him moan about a single thing. He literally just got on with it.
There was nothing forced or obnoxious, just one humble human being.
He showed such vulnerability, talked about things that were really difficult, but equally listened when others were having a really hard time or problems.
And you could see really what it meant to him when he won, pure tears of not only disbelief but joy.
He has done his family so proud, and I’m so excited to see what’s next for him.
He absolutely smashed it.
And finally, wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and an extremely Happy New Year.
That’s all, folks.
