ROBIN Ayers’ was a prominent radio host who sadly passed away on December 5, 2024.
The radio presenter is survived by her husband Rob and the two children they have together.
Marital bliss
Not much is known about Rob’s life before meeting his partner, though it is known that they share two twin daughters named Brooklyn and Madison.
Although they kept much of their relationship out of the public eye, Robin did occasionally share family snaps on her social media accounts.
On November 29, 2024, just a week before she passed away, Rob and his family travelled to New York for a holiday together.
Rob’s wife captioned the post simply with “Thankful” and an autumnal collection of leaf emojis.
Robin’s sad passing
Sadly, Robin passed away on December 5, 2024, just days after Brooklyn and Madison’s 18th birthdays.

Her cause of death remains unknown but, in 2023, she was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma.
This is a rare and aggressive form of cancer which affects the body’s soft tissue.
However, this has not been cited as the cause of Robin’s death.
News of Rob’s wife’s passing broke when her colleague Tavis Smiley took to social media to tell fans the news.
He posted: “Robin was a bright light.
“You could see her radiant smile through the radio. We all respected her immense talent, loved her jovial spirit, celebrated her love of family, and honored her faith in God.”
Tavis added: “We ask you to join us in praying for the Ayers family as they navigate the difficult days ahead.”
Celebrities including Jason Lee (the star of My Name is Earl) and former SNL cast member Jay Pharaoh shared their condolences with Rob and his family on social media.
Robin’s incredible career
Robin was known for being the immensely popular host of the Los Angeles-based radio station KBLA 1580 Talk.
However, she actually started her career in Hollywood as a stylist.
She was also a published author, who released a hit book entitled Unspoken Language: Making Your Belief Speak for You in 2016.
The star also was an inspiration to fans across America, as she survived two car accidents in 2023, the same year that she was diagnosed with cancer.
After Robin passed away, a special edition of her 1580 Talk show was held where fans were given the chance to phone in and share their love for the entertainment journalist, wife and mother-of-two.
