India witnessed a massive 3000% surge in API cyberattacks during the July-September quarter. API-targeted DDoS attacks outpaced website attacks by 85%, with 1.2 billion total attacks detected. Bot activity increased by 145% year-over-year, impacting 90% of websites. SMBs faced a disproportionately high number of attacks, while the BFSI and healthcare sectors were heavily targeted by bots.
