Two dead, one seriously injured after Clay County crash

CLAY COUNTY (KSNT) - A 56-year-old woman from Clay Center and a 53-year-old woman from Salina died after a crash on Sunday.

At 5:35 p.m., 56-year-old Deanna L. Hess was driving a 2013 Chevy Malibu south on K15 Highway. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP), the woman crossed the center line, striking 53-year-old Lisa L. Stevenson's 2016 Chevy Impala.

Hess and Stevenson were both pronounced dead on the scene and had their next of kin notified. A 13-year-old girl who was a passenger of Stevenson's was also taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries, according to the KHP.
