Albany Police investigating reported shooting
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A man was shot in his upper torso on Sunday night. Police said it happened in the area of Alexander Street and Clinton Street.
Officers responded to the area of the shooting for reports of shots fired where they found evidence of gunfire and opened an investigation. Staff from Albany Medical Center also alerted the police department around 8:05 p.m. that a 20-year-old man came into the emergency room with gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
The victim is being treated at the hospital and is in stable condition. The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information should contact police at (518) 462-8039.
