MTA worker accused of slashing man in Brooklyn subway station: sources
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An MTA employee was accused of slashing a man sleeping on a bench inside a Brooklyn subway station early Monday morning, sources told PIX11 News.
It happened at the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center subway station on the southbound platform around 1:45 a.m. The MTA worker was pouring bleach when they got into an argument with the 46-year-old victim, sources said.
The employee is then accused of slashing the man with a sharp object above his left eye, according to sources.
The worker was taken into custody at the scene, sources said. The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
