Spotify Wrapped: What are Columbus’ top songs, albums and artists of 2024?

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – After releasing users’ 2024 Wrapped results last week, Spotify has revealed Columbus’ top songs, artists and albums. 

The music and audio streaming platform releases “Spotify Wrapped” recaps annually in November or December. The campaign first launched in 2016, and summarizes users' activity for the year, such as their most-played songs and albums. 

Spotify provided NBC4 with Columbus’ Wrapped results, consisting of the city’s top five songs, artists and albums of 2024. The top song in Columbus this year was “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey, followed by “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter, “I Had Some Help (feat. Morgan Wallen)” by Post Malone, “Not Like Us” by Kenrick Lamar and “Good Luck, Babe!” by Chappell Roan. 

When it comes to Columbus’ most listened to artists, Taylor Swift took the top spot. Drake, Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan and Future completed the top five.

The most popular album among Columbus residents this year was “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY” by Taylor Swift, followed by “One Thing At A Time” by Morgan Wallen, “Stick Season” by Noah Kahan, “Short n’ Sweet” by Sabrina Carpenter and “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” by Chappell Roan.
