India boosted its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals. The Ministry of Statistics partnered with NITI Aayog and the UN. They signed an agreement to improve data collection. A new forum, the DDCF, was created. This forum will develop data plans. It will also bring together key stakeholders for discussions.
