Towie’s Dani Imbert breaks silence on feud with co-star after furious fall out
TOWIE star Dani Imbert has spoken out after being left in a vicious feud with a former co-star pal.
The reality TV star has been left furious after coming to blows with fellow TOWIE cast member, Junaid Ahmed.
29-year-old Junaid and Dani, 26, have been left barely speaking with their friendships seemingly in tatters.
Dani was left seething when Junaid’s boyfriend Joe Blackman launched an attack against her on social media despite her being an ally to Junaid during his controversial romance.
Now she has broken her silence to confirm the pair have fallen out with the future looking extremely bleak.
Dani confessed: “As much as I didn’t agree with what [Junaid] was doing I was trying to be respectful and have his back.
“I was trying not to be negative. In the long run it has caused us to fall out and we are not really speaking now.
“It has led to us falling out. Joe put stuff up on social media about me.”
Dani was left unhappy when Junaid failed to make a public stand for Dani despite his boyfriend’s online actions.
The ITVBe personality continued: “I would expect my best friend to have my back.
“I know he said he pulled Joe up on it, but it wasn’t really enough. I feel really let down by him.
“Considering when Joe him screwed him over I was there to pick up the pieces and when Joe has been nasty to me, he has not had my back.”
She also revealed that attempts to rekindle their friendship fell flat as they failed to find a common ground and reach a resolution with one another.
“We have spoke, but it wasn’t resolved,” Dani said.
“It wasn’t heated and it wasn’t a massive argument but we’ve realised we are two different people.”
Last month, we told how the former pals had ‘snubbed’ each other after the show’s explosive Christmas special.
Filming for the festive episode, which airs this month, took place in November.
Although, the ex besties unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The pair were famously close, having flown out to Turkey last summer on an £8k ‘surgery trip’ ahead of the new series.
