Heung-min Son has explained why is important for everyone at Spurs to stick together if the side are going to come out of this slump quickly.
Another bruising defeat for Spurs
The majority of Tottenham fans were not too optimistic heading into the London derby against Chelsea, but that changed when they saw the teamsheet, which had both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven in the starting eleven.
The feelgood factor momentarily returned to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the home side raced into a 2-0 lead through goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski.
However, the Lilywhites once again threw away their lead in a fashion that has become all too familiar for Spurs fans, ending up with a 4-2 loss.
To make matters worse, Romero was forced off in the first-half after seemingly feeling something in his quad, while Micky van de Ven came off on 79 minutes, although Postecoglou later confirmed that it was planned.
Heung-min Son issues a strong Spurs message
Son, who got a consolation goal for Tottenham late on after failing to put away a couple of big opportunities earlier in the game, has now addressed the team’s slump.
The Spurs captain insisted that everyone is working hard behind the scenes and doing all they can to get things right on the pitch as soon as they can.
He told Spurs Play: “We all care about where we are now and the results. We do really care about this Club. Everybody is working really hard to get it right. It’s tough. We have to stick together.”

The players are behind Ange Postecoglou
While there are signs that we are potentially nearing the end of Postecoglou‘s spell at Spurs, there is one major difference that sets this apart from the final days of Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and even Mauricio Pochettino.
All those managers evidently had lost the dressing room towards the end, but that is certainly not the case with Postecoglou.
Based on the comments made by the players, it is clear that they fully believe that the Australian is the right man to get the team back up to where they belong.
