Hydrants damaged in Broussard, may affect water pressure

BROUSSARD, La. (KLFY) -- Some residents of Broussard may experience low water pressure due to two fire hydrants were damaged by vehicles over the weekend, officials said.
According to the City of Broussard Public Works Department, a hydrant on South Bernard Road between Albertson Parkway and Pinhook Road was damaged when struck by a vehicle. Residents and businesses in that area may experience low water pressure until repairs are complete.
A hydrant on Ambassador Caffery Parkway was also damaged, but did not impact service, authorities said.
No timeline for repairs for either hydrant was provided.
