OKMULGEE, Okla. (KFOR) - The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) confirmed on Tuesday that firefighters with the Dewar Fire and Henryetta Fire departments were called to a structure fire.

Police say the house that was on fire is where Jesse McFadden killed six people, including five teenagers, before taking his own life in May of 2023.

Okmulgee County Deputies say they were informed that the fire was possibly arson, and the State Fire Marshal's Office is set to conduct a further investigation.

OCSO investigators say that currently there are no leads and interviews are being conducted in the area as the investigation continues to determine the cause.
