Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli brutally TROLLED following net practice video
Senior India batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli struggled in the recently-concluded pink-ball Test in Adelaide against Australia. While Rohit only scored a combined total of 9 runs in the match, Virat didn’t do much better with his small contribution of 18 runs.
The duo have faced severe criticism since India began their home Test season with the series against Bangladesh and New Zealand earlier this year. Both Rohit and Virat were able to register just one half-century each in the 2 series. While the latter did score a fantastic ton in Perth in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar series, he struggled in the next match in Adelaide.
The pressure is rising on both the batters and they will have to give massive contributions with the bat as India eye a spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) final which is scheduled to take place next year.
On Tuesday, the duo were seen practicing in a net session in Adelaide ahead of the Brisbane Test. However, the video of their practice saw them receive heavy backlash on social media.
Fans pointed out how the duo struggled to connect the ball with the middle of the bat and some even predicted that the duo will not be able to score much in the upcoming Brisbane Test.
