Uppinangady police arrested 68-year-old Babu alias Rudra for the murder of Deepak, an Assam native. Deepak's body was found with head injuries in an under-construction library on December 4. The accused, apprehended in Deralakatte, confessed to the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
