Kate Magdziuk shares her Week 15 wide receiver rankings for standard scoring leagues and highlights several streaming options.

Congratulations — you survived Week 14’s byepocalyse and now have an entire slate of games from which to set your most perfect lineup. Sure, that may make the lineup setting process all the more difficult. After all, more options means more decisions to make.

Don’t fret, though. We’re here to help you navigate this cricual week with some WR sleepers and Week 15 WR rankings for standard-scoring league formats.

Week 15 WR flex plays

Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers vs. DAL

Since being reinstalled as the starting quarterback in Carolina, Bryce Young has played some solid football, executing Dave Canales’ offense with much greater poise (and ease) than he showed to kick off the season. A big beneficiary of that has been now-healthy WR Adam Thielen, who’s tallied a 17-201-1 line on 21 targets over the past two weeks, operating as the team’s primary receiving option.

This week, the Panthers will take on the Dallas Cowboys who just lost one of their top linebackers in DeMarvion Overshown to a devastating knee injury, currently leading the team in defensive stops (20) with 33 tackles, 3 forced incompletions and an interception returned for a pick six. Though overshown’s greater strength was in the run game, he did play a role in the pass rush, totaling seven pressures over the past three weeks — the third-most on the team, which is good news for Bryce Young, Thielen and the rest of Panthers’ playmakers with one less budding star to contend with.

Week 15 WR sleepers

Tank Dell, Houston Texans vs. MIA

It pains me greatly to have Dell listed here in the sleepers column rather than atop a “must-start” list for Week 15, but alas, the best laid plans. Dell has had some shining moments this year (a 6-126-0 line vs. Jets in Week 9), but this has been a largely forgettable season for the second-year product out of Houston. He hasn’t looked quite as much the twitchy, reliable-on-every-down kind of guy he was as a rookie, perhaps still less than 100% returning from a broken leg that ended his 2023 campaign as well as a shooting to the leg suffered in late April. Regardless, Dell is coming off a Week 14 bye, well rested, with a solid opportunity against the Miami Dolphins defense that leads the league in pass yards (1,952) while allowing 11 passing touchdowns since the return of Tua Tagovailoa to the starting lineup, now facing the second-highest pass play percentage in the league (68.4% compared to 51.6% in the first seven weeks of the season). Expect the Texans to have to pass early and often in this matchup, and with Dell fresh off a week of rest, he could be in for a bounce back opportunity.

Joshua Palmer, Los Angeles Chargers vs. TB

The Los Angeles Chargers have a big question looming ahead of Week 15, and that’s the availability of star rookie WR Ladd McConkey, who currently leads the team with 81 targets on the year and 815 receiving yards. Regardless of his availability, however, the Chargers do know they’ll be without TE Will Dissly (the second leading target earner for LAC this season) for the next several days, which could force increased involvement from other playmakers in the offense, including WR Joshua Palmer. Palmer leads the team with a 16.0 aDOT — a great sign of his usage as a deep threat and explosive play-making ability and has seen 8+ targets in two of the past three weeks. Expect some potential for volume and big plays up against this Buccaneers secondary that ranks third in the league with 3,294 passing yards allowed this season and second in yard after the catch allowed (1,720) thanks to substantial volume forced by game script.

Ray-Ray McCloud III, Atlanta Falcons vs. LV

This is your “in case of emergency” play for Week 15 — don’t even consider it unless you’re in a dynasty league with limited waiver options or a league with rosters as deep as the ocean blue. It’s no secret that the Atlanta Falcons’ passing game has struggled in recent weeks with Kirk Cousins under center, but somehow, McCloud had been impervious to it. He has logged 95+ receiving yards in back-to-back weeks with 17 targets in that span, and now, gets a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Dating back to Week 9, the Raiders lead the league with 14 passing touchdowns allowed and the fifth-most explosive pass plays (36) — an intriguing spot for the veteran wideout who seems to have found his groove as of late.
