The central government's forest advisory committee has again delayed the Odisha government's proposed Puri greenfield airport project. Concerns exist regarding the airport's proximity to endangered Olive Ridley turtle nesting sites, Irrawaddy dolphin habitats, and the INS Chilka naval base.
