Ohio State's 2025 football schedule completed, with Big Ten dates announced
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Even before Ohio State plays its first home playoff game against Tennessee, it has its roadmap for next season.
The Big Ten announced game dates Wednesday afternoon on the Big Ten Network for the 2025 season, completing the Buckeyes' regular-season schedule. The premier conference home game will be Nov. 1 against Penn State, one of the four Big Ten teams in 2024 playoff field. They are not scheduled to play the other two, Oregon and Indiana.
The season will end, as it usually does, against Michigan, with Ohio State traveling to Ann Arbor on Nov. 29 and looking to end a four-game losing streak in the series. The schedule also includes a visit from UCLA, which will play at Ohio Stadium for the first time since 1999.
There will be two bye weeks, only one home game in October and no home games between Oct. 4 and Nov. 1. As previously announced, the Buckeyes will open with three home nonconference games: Aug. 30 against Texas -- also a playoff team -- Sept. 6 against FCS team Grambling State and Sept. 13 against Ohio.
Conference kickoff times will primarily be announced during the season, and others are expected to be set in the spring.
