Preview: Warriors looking for 16th straight win over Rockets in Houston
LET’S GET IT IN TEXAS!
The Golden State Warriors have lost six of their last eight games, splitting their last two contests in tilts against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
But would you believe that they still have the best record in the Pacific Division? That’s right folks, with a record of 14-9 they are in first place in the same division as James Harden, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and De’Aaron Fox.
To keep their lead up on the rest of the pack, they’ll have to get a win over the Rockets tonight in Houston.

ONE HOUR AWAY.
Where are you watching from, #DubNation?
The Golden State Warriors used to have a pretty fun and hotly contested rivalry with the Rockets. Well, maybe not a rivalry since the Dubs used to just knock them out of the playoffs every year during the peak of the dynasty. Golden State eliminated Houston in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. Damn son, that’s a lotta seasons ended by the Golden Empire!
Hey here’s a fun fact Warriors fans: did you know that the Warriors haven’t lost to the Rockets since February 20th, 2020?

That’s a pretty wild stat. The Dubs are looking to add a 16th straight dub against the Rockets tonight in H-Town, and they’ll be going smallball when they take the court. The Dubs announced they’ll be starting Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield, Gary Payton II, Jonathan Kuminga, and Draymond Green per Anthony Slater of the Athletic:

Steph Curry
Buddy Hield
Gary Payton II
Jonathan Kuminga
Draymond Green
It’s crazy that Curry and Green are the only available starters who were on the squad when they last lost to Houston, as both franchises have undergone major rehauls.
It’s a red court tonight for the semifinals between Warriors and Rockets. Steve Kerr told his coaches at shootaround: “It feels like I’m descending into the depths of hell.” pic.twitter.com/q4eMHXjdaR
