The Indian government awarded four entities over Rs 4,150 crore in incentives for coal gasification projects. These projects, spearheaded by CIL-BHEL, CIL-GAIL, Coal India, and New Era Cleantech, will produce ammonium nitrate, synthetic natural gas, and ethanol, involving a total investment exceeding Rs 47,000 crore.
