Possible freezing drizzle north of I-70 late on Friday morning
What We’re Tracking
- Warmer Friday
- Late rain Friday into Saturday
- Warming up by Sunday
It’s going to be another cold night with temps dropping into the low 20s. Winds will stay from the northeast at around 10 mph, and clouds will start to build in overnight.
There’s a small chance of freezing drizzle early Friday morning, but it’s more likely the further north you go, especially north of I-70. Luckily, temperatures will warm up above freezing pretty quickly, so the freezing drizzle should only last for an hour or two. It will be mostly clear during the day, but clouds will gradually increase as we head into Friday afternoon, bringing a chance of rain showers by evening.
Showers will start to dry out Saturday morning. Temperatures will begin to warm into the upper 40s by Saturday afternoon. Even warmer weather is expected for Sunday and Monday as temperatures jump into the mid to upper 50s. Another chance of rain returning for Monday.
