Opposition MPs have initiated impeachment proceedings against Allahabad High Court Judge Shekhar Kumar Yadav. A notice signed by 55 MPs alleges Justice Yadav's speech at a VHP event promoted hate speech, targeted minorities, and violated judicial conduct by publicly discussing political matters like the uniform civil code. The Supreme Court is also reviewing the situation.
