Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, accused of murdering his fan Renukaswamy, was granted bail by the Karnataka High Court on Friday. His friend Pavithra Gowda and seven others also received bail. The alleged murder followed obscene messages sent to Gowda. Darshan, initially jailed in Bengaluru, was later moved to Ballari and is currently hospitalized.
