Atul Subhash suicide case: The Honourable Supreme Court has passed its judgement in a similar case where a husband filed divorce case on the ground of cruelty. However the fight dragged on for more than 20 years and ultimately the husband was ordered to pay Rs 5 crore alimony to his wife as one time settlement. The Supreme Court also iterated eight factors which will be used as a reference to decide alimony amount.
