A former PMK functionary in Coimbatore was booked for disrupting a woman sub-inspector's duty. He allegedly verbally abused and threatened her after she explained the legal proceedings in a case he had filed. He also damaged a case file. Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the BNS Act.
