The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has ordered the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and its affiliate bodies to cease anti-competitive practices, including abuse of dominance and restrictive agreements. The action followed a 2021 complaint about unfair practices. However, after TTFI and its affiliates took corrective measures, such as removing restrictive clauses and promoting open competition, the CCI chose not to impose penalties.
