A court in Amritsar, India, extended the police remand of Narain Singh Chaura, accused of attempting to assassinate Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, by two days. Police argued they needed more time to obtain CCTV footage. The accused will reappear in court on December 16.
