The interesting thing is that the bid for that player started at only Rs 10 lakh, which in a short time increased to over one crore.
Kamalini is a member of India’s Under 19 team. Today India played against Pakistan in the Women’s Under 19 Asia Cup. Team India won this match very easily by 9 wickets. Mumbai Indians placed the first bid on Kamalini. But the Delhi team also wanted her in their team. The bid which started from 10 lakhs crossed 50 lakhs and then reached one crore. After some time it crossed 1.5 crores. Kamalini’s last bid was 1 crore 60 lakhs, after which the Delhi team backed off and Mumbai Indians succeeded in getting Kamalini in their team.
