India's wholesale inflation eased to 1.89% in November from 2.36% in October, driven by higher prices in food, textiles, and machinery. Food inflation decreased to 8.29% from 11.59%. Retail inflation also fell to 5.48%. A good monsoon and bumper crops helped reduce vegetable prices.
