She also pleaded guilty to criminal damage worth £17.50 after the drink also splattered on Farage’s security officer’s jacket.
Thomas-Bowen has now avoided jail and was instead handed a 13 week sentence suspended for 12 months.
She was also ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
JPs were told the so-called “milkshaking” was a “protest” at Farage’s campaign.
In a victim impact statement, Farage said: “Immediately after the incident, I felt humiliated.
“I was deeply thoughtful that next time it may not be a milkshake.
“This incident made campaigning more difficult, which is my job. I was just going about general duties.
“Incidents like this put people off standing for public office and that is bad for our democracy.”
Farage had been out in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, in June after announcing he would stand during the election when Thomas-Bowen struck.
As he left the Moon and Starfish pub, the model doused him in the thick yellow drink.
He was seen with the banana milkshake splattered across his dark blue suit as he boarded his campaign bus.
Prosecutor Nishma Shah said: “She had seen posts online advertising Nigel Farage would be in Clacton-on-Sea… she didn’t agree with his political views.
She brought a McDonald’s banana milkshake and didn’t know whether she would throw it or not.
“She was sat outside the Moon and Starfish pub and decided to do it as she ‘had the opportunity’.
“She threw the drink knowing it would go over him but didn’t intend for the cup to hit him.
“She acknowledged the suit would need cleaning. She said he could afford it.”
The court was told the Reform leader at first wasn’t sure what the liquid was and said the cup had “hit me directly in the face”.
In a police interview, Thomas-Bowen accepted the assault and said she doesn’t regret her actions.
She also told The Sun previously that she refuses to apologise to Farage.
Her lawyer said Thomas-Bowen has received a number of threats since the attack.
As well as a suspended sentence, the model must pay Farage £150 compensation and £600 in costs.
Sentencing, District Judge Tan Ikram said the incident was an “attack on our parliamentary democracy”.
The judge added: “The risks of face to face engagement with the public are too clear, bearing in mind the murders of two other MPs in recent years.
“Those entering public office are being deterred from entering public life.
“It is inevitable that anxiety would have been caused.
“A clear message must go out. Public debate must not be shut down by criminality such as this.
The attack was the second time I’m a Celeb star Farage has been targeted with milkshake.
