Save water?

0
On an entirely random subject: whilst brushing my teeth this morning I was reading the toothpaste tube, like you do. There was a notice on there that I should turn my tap off whilst brushing, in order to save water.
Now that got me thinking. In Scotland it seems like water falls from the sky, in rather large quantities, as it happens. And we have great big puddle thingys, where we store it so we can water our gardens when it’s only mildly drizzling, or to hide the odd prehistoric monster. I would guess that kind of thing happens to our friends across the small sea as well, which is why it’s called the Emerald Isle.
So my questions: what about your water down in softie Ingerland? Is it in short supply? Would me turning my tap off help you out?
Or Arizona, or Manhattan, or wherever it is all you Americans live?
What about Europe?
Please let me know. I’d love to help out, honestly I would. But for now I’ll just keep the tap running, to flush the pipes out. I don’t want the haggis fur to clog my drains.
