Blue Sky Radio has teamed up with a local hospice to help raise money for their Christmas Jumper Day.

The station broadcast live from the “Dougie Mac” hospice across the entire day and out and about in their outside broadcast vehicle visiting local businesses who were supporting the fund-raising day.

It’s expected that the Stoke-on-Trent based hospice will raise around £50,000 from the day.

Kevin Fernihough who presented his mid-morning show from the event said: “Many of us at Blue Sky Radio have personal experiences of the fantastic work that Dougie Mac does – thank you to the whole team.

“This is a fantastic organisation who do so much for local people, helping raise awareness across Staffordshire and Cheshire is a privilege.”
