A video of Gautam Gambhir shadow practising in the dressing room has gone viral on social media after India faced a failure in batting in the Gabba Test. On the third day of the game, during a rain break, the TV cameras showed Gambhir picking a bat and imitate what appeared to be a player leaving a delivery.
India’s first innings at the Gabba Test has been a nightmare so far. Rohit Sharma departed for just 10 runs, whereas Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, and Yashasvi Jaiswal all left for single-digit scores. However, India now has a chance to catch up due to a strong stand of 84 runs from KL Rahul and a brilliant knock from Ravindra Jadeja.
Indian batting lineup has struggled in the Test format ever since Gambhir took over as head coach, as they have 400 only twice. In the seven of the team’s 14 games, they have been bowled out for less tan 200.
