Uruguayan forward Torres sets for Palmeiras move

SAO PAULO, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Palmeiras has reached an agreement to sign Uruguayan forward Facundo Torres from Orlando City, according to media reports in Brazil.

The Brazilian Serie A club agreed to pay 12 million U.S. dollars plus add-ons to secure the 24-year-old on a five-year deal, Globo Esporte said on Monday.

It added that Torres, who has been capped 19 times for Uruguay, would arrive in Sao Paulo
