THE BBC has been hit by a major schedule shake-up which has forced TWO of its biggest programmes off-air.

But for fans of both The One Show and EastEnders, they could be left screaming at the TV amid the scheduling disruption.
Both programme have been pulled off the air to make way for the live broadcast which kicks off at 7pm.
The One Show has been booted out of the 7pm slot with the same happening for the flagship BBC soap at 7:30pm.
Whilst The One Show will lose an episode, EastEnders fans won’t be left missing out on any action with the soap due to screen an episode on Friday instead.
Whilst the show usually only airs Monday-Thursday, it will go directly against Emmerdale this Friday too as a result of being forced off today.
The Sports Personality of the Year will air for two hours this evening with Team GB star Keely Hodgkinson the hot favourite in 2024 after storming to gold in the 800m at the Paris Olympics.
The Atherton native also claimed the European title in Rome – two months before competing in France.
Hodgkinson dominated the 800m scene in 2024, breaking the British national record and becoming the sixth fastest woman in history.
Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler is also in the running for Sports Personality of the Year after finishing runner-up at the World Darts Championship in January catapulted him into stardom and one of the sport’s leading competitors.
England and Real Madrid footballer Jude Bellingham is also amongst the star-studded names in contention to be crowned BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
The departure of Gary Lineker from his long-standing role as co-host of BBC Spots Personality of the Year (SPOTY) paved the way for this groundbreaking change.
The trio of Clare Balding, Gabby Logan and Alex Scott represents a blend of experience, expertise and fresh perspectives.
The fresh female line-up promises to make this year’s groundbreaking SPOTY ceremony both engaging and inspirational.
