I’m a Celeb’s GK Barry reveals how Jane Moore helped her through show struggles as she praises ‘jungle mum’
GK Barry has revealed how Jane Moore helped her get through the hard times while they were in the I’m a Celebrity jungle.
Podcast host GK, 25, returned to the Loose Women panel today after their stint in the I’m a Celebrity jungle.
And she was quick to praise fellow panellist and Sun columnist Jane, 62.
Speaking to Charlene White, Coleen Nolan and Sunetra Sarker, GK said: “I would say I’ve recovered eating wise – I’ve been eating everything.
“But that experience… everyone says ‘that is going to be the best thing you’ve ever done’. I will never do that again.
“Nobody tells you how tough it is. But it was amazing to meet so many news friends, meet Ant and Dec and wear my hair in plaits everyday.”
GK continued: “Thank god Jane was there. When I saw that woman falling from the jungle I thought ‘thank god you’re here’.
“She really helped me when I was getting a bit down in there. She’d come and mother me, I called her my jungle mum.
“I was like ‘I love reading bad comments about myself online because I love to make myself upset’.
“And she went for me, she said ‘you dare do that again, and we’re going words’. I thought she was completely right, she spoke a lot of sense.”
It comes after GK – real name Grace Keeling – and girlfriend Ella Rutherford dropped the biggest hint yet that they’ve secretly married.
Ella met Grace at the end of the bridge after a month apart when she narrowly missed out on a place in the final.
Sharing unseen photos of the pair together in Australia, Ella captioned her post: “Flew to the jungle to get my wife.
“Met the most amazing people along the way and made memories that will last a life time.
“You made us all so proud beautiful, I love you with all my heart, I have everything I’ll ever need.”
